The shared vision: a lifestyle shift; a way of life that is both sustainable and exciting - that serves us and others, bringing us all closer together; a sabbatical to rediscover our roots, to make our way in the global world, to become digital nomads who are not "just" backpacking but planting seeds of a vine that will grow together into a network.

In addition to celebrating our relationship, our marriage and our journey as a couple to this point, I hope to use this time to unpack my varied life experiences, take inventory of where I am and see with new eyes into myself and the world. My ultimate wish in this life is to serve Truth and Love, to become a true channel of Love: sharing it, spreading it, teaching it and being it - in all ways possible. Travel, nature and service remind me of this dream and so it is my hope that this time will help clarify how to usher this wish into reality. Aside from starting with my roots in Greece, I'm unsure where this journey will lead or how long it will be - I surrender myself to the Flow and hope to be guided by Spirit in order to see clearly. I pray for Grace and Light to show us the way and reward us in this true leap of Faith.

Christina and I have been together adventuring on and off for 14 years. We have both worked as consultants, are creative people and have studied many spiritual methodologies. We were blessed to have a big, fat, Greek wedding in June 2016 in New York (somewhat reminiscent of the film) though we were not able to take a proper honeymoon directly after, due to work. Having had longtime wanderlust, we felt strongly that before it gets more difficult to do so, we should make the pilgrimage to see more of the world. We have had a pretty magnificent life living in Hawaii, NYC and San Diego, California where we met and call home. However, things were getting a little stagnant and as we ramped up towards our special day we fantasized about shifting gears to make our dream trip happen. After the wedding in June, we decided that we would make our honeymoon our global exploration to see the rest of the world and make an attempt to be global citizens. We sold our car and gave up our beautiful Ocean Beach digs in San Diego cutting many of our expenses to travel more freely. San Diego is an incredible and beautiful place to live however we were wondering what else is out there and how would the rest of the world respond to us and our talents.
We are both relatively successful in our fields. However, we felt like there might be something missing and what is there beyond the United States? Also we have always felt like there is a more specific calling for us to accomplish something massive in the world together and we needed to find it. We decided that connecting to our roots would be the start. Christina is Greek and I am Spanish/Cuban. We would begin our journey in Greece doing some more honeymoon-y type things like exploring the Cycladic archipelago. Then we would make our way to the mainland and see the birthplace of my mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sparta and Kastoria. Then Spain, Europe, and on to Asia.
